Puerto Rico

For a fairly small island, Puerto Rico is actually very dense in culture. Despite being one of the few American commonwealths, it retains its own flair and identity. It’s history is both vastly interesting and a bit tragic, but despite the pains it has endured, its people continue to rebuild and preserve their individualism. There is quite a bit to explore here, and easily one of my favorite long weekend getaways. Check out some of my highlights in the posts below.

The city of San Juan, Puerto Rico is definitely a  place “rich” in a large number of ways, as I rediscovered when visited back in February. There is unparalleled beauty to be found at every turn.

Wander the cobblestone streets and architectural marvels of Old San Juan. Then, drive through the green hills and jungles that make up the country. There are a great many riches to fill your mind.
